How to avoid Chargebacks?
At AMSLV we look for ways to avoid charge backs for your merchant accounts. Following are few tips to avoid Chargebacks:
- If the authorization request was declined, then stop the transaction and don’t ask for authorization request if it’s declined.
- When asking for authorization request if you are interrupted by a “Call” message then call the authorization center.
- Cardholder signature is must else it can lead to chargeback.
- Make sure all transactions are processed only once. Ensure that incorrect sale receipts are voided and that transactions are processed only once.
- Make sure the cardholder knows policies regarding merchandise returns, refunds, or service cancellation, if any.
